Mohammed Hersi was elected as the Chairman of MCTA unopposed yesterday, albeit in absentia. Mr. Hersi is also the Regional General Manager of Sarova Hotels Coast Region. To those who know him, and those who meet him, he comes across as a hard worker and a person of very high integrity. This would explain why all members were unanimous in electing their selfless chairman for another 2-year term.
