All new – Reunion’s TripAdvisor site

Reunion Tourism has at the beginning of the month launched their new TripAdvisor web portal, giving a fresh look and allows for easier navigation through the site’s contents. Especially the island’s various attractions and key tourism components like relaxation, culture, outdoor adventures, cuisine and more are presented with new pictures and videos backing up the narratives.

The revamp of the TripAdvisor site also means that visitors to the main page can find links to the destination website of IRT, short of Ile de la Reunion Tourisme ( as well as the island’s social network sites and presence such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Flickr, giving the unique opportunity to stay connected with Reunion through a medium of the viewer’s choice.

This launch of the newly upgraded site has several aims:

· increase the visibility and legibility of the territory on TripAdvisor and on the web;

· promote the destination to a wide national and international audience;

· best meet the new expectations and needs of travelers.

TripAdvisor is the largest travel site in the world. The TripAdvisor-branded sites make up the largest travel community in the world, with over 260 million unique monthly visitors and over 125 million views and opinions of more than 3.1 million of accommodation restaurants and attractions.
