Reunion’s marketing juggernaut continues unabated

During a recent joint promotion effort did IRT, Ile de la Reunion Tourisme, team up with French long haul tour operator Exotismes and hosted some 400 travel agents on the day, all keen to learn more about the French Indian Ocean island.

Attended by over 400 travel agents from the PACA region was the event judged to be a huge success again in IRT’s ongoing marketing juggernaut to promote the island’s wide range of tourism attractions. The working session allowed guests to meet the professionals from Reunion’ tourism industry, through the presence of Saint Alexis Hotel & Spa **** Palm Hotel & Spa *****, the Iloha Seaview Hotel **, the Lux Reunion Island *****, the Exsel group and key staff of home airline Air Austral. The participating travel agents were able to deepen their knowledge of the destination with Anne Ethève responsible for promoting holidays to the island of La Reunion Tourism in Europe.

During the evening was a partnership agreement signed between the President of the IRT Serveaux Patrick and Gilbert Cisneros, CEO of Exotismes.

Exotisme’s CEO used the opportunity to announce an educational tour due to take place in June 2015 which will combine the two Vanilla Islands of Reunion and the Seychelles, the latter being the second island featured during the event. For more information about Destination Reunion click on
