Hon. Najib Balala is the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism for the Republic of Kenya. Hon. Balala is credited with steering Kenya’s tourism sector to recovery following the post-election violence in 2008. One of the main objectives of the authority is to promote Mauritius abroad as a tourist destination by conducting advertising campaigns and research into market trends and market opportunities and disseminate such information and other relevant statistical data on Mauritius.
