Ethiopian Airlines relaunches website for their frequent traveler programme

Ethiopian Airlines yesterday announced the re-launch of its newly redesigned ShebaMiles Frequent Flyer Program web page to improve customers’ online experience in terms of ease of use, data quality and better control on account management through enhanced self-service options.

The new ShebaMiles web page, among other features, incorporates digital card download option, reduced number of fields for enrolment process, tool tips, improved validations and supplementary information for each field, tier upgrade calculator and custom navigation for better user experience.


Ethiopian Airlines’ Group CEO Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam said when making the announcement in Addis Ababa yesterday: ‘In an effort to continuously improve our services and meet the high expectation of our customers, we have now revamped our ShebaMiles Frequent Flyer Program with a major focus on enhancing our customers’ experience, improved self service capability, easy online retro claiming process, fast search and navigation with streamlined support information. Systems Development being one of the pillars of our fifteen years strategic road map, Vision 2025, currently, we are implementing and incorporating the latest IT systems in Aviation Technology. Moreover, we are heading towards a totally paperless operational environment. I would like to thank our IT and Customer Loyalty team, who jointly redesigned the new web page to further actualize our customer focused approach for ensuring a sustainable growth‘.
