UHOA PROMOTES BEST PRACTICE FOR FOOD HANDLING IN UGANDA

UHOA is partnering with Sanofi Pasteur to provide a training and sensitization on food handling in the hotel sector. A one day training session will take place on Wednesday 26th of April at the Golf Course Hotel starting at 8am.
Said UHOA’s Executive Director Ms. Jean Byamugisha in a statement seen: ‘Our industry is a very fragile one and food handling is one of the key sensitive areas that we have not given much attention. By partnering with Sanofi Pasteur, we hope to equip our members with not only the knowledge but the different skills required to ensure food safety in your establishments. As you will notice from the agenda, most of the speakers are Doctors with extensive expertise and experience in this field. We have also provided ample time at the end of the workshop for members to ask as many questions as possible‘.
Intending participants should note that the workshop is open to all UHOA members and is free of charge. Hotels and other UHOA members should however confirm the proposed participation of any of their staff with the association’s secretariat.
