ATTA set to launch new event for Africa in 2018

The African Travel and Tourism Association is launching ‘Experience Africa‘, a new three day event in London in conjunction with Talking Stick Marketing. Beginning on 25th of June 2018, Experience Africa will bring together carefully selected companies wishing to increase business to Africa, focusing on all markets including boutique luxury, transport, mid-market accommodation and overlanders.

The event will centre around a table top workshop format with 42 appointments available over the three days using a pre-scheduled match making system. There will be a variety of seminars, networking event and the second Avis Atta Media Awards, a ceremony in recognition of the best African travel journalism. It will follow the same formula as Talking Stick’s Experience Latin America, whose fourth edition was held in London in June 2017.

The event will also be attended by key African suppliers, offering networking opportunities with international buyers as well as print and broadcast media that cover tourism to the African continent.

Supplier registration for the event opens in a few weeks.
