The last couple of months have been truly wonderful. In that time, we’ve hosted wonderful guests, flown them over the beautiful Chyulus in our famed giraffe painted Cessna 206 airplane and have been training for the NYC marathon to raise funds for our partner organization, Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. NYC MARATHON BUSH TRAINING
In less than 5 weeks two members of our CYK team and 3 members of our MWCT team will be running in this year’s NYC Marathon for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust (MWCT), November 5th! We can proudly say that we’ve made our first corporate sale of carbon credits to Tiffany&Co!
Helping us to secure the Chyulu Hills, Hemingway’s "Green Hills of Africa," our home, through a REDD+ Carbon Project (the plus stands for conservation of forest carbon stocks, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest carbon stocks). Our protected area extends from Amboslei to Chyulu to Tsavo National Parks and covers 1,000,000 acres and affects 70,000 Maasai people!
