#Zimbabwe Tourism Authority sees change at the helm

(Posted 06th February 2019)

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Mrs. Priscah Mupfumira, has in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority appointed Ms. Rita Likukuma as Acting CEO of ZTA.

She succeeds the organization’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Givemore Chidzidzi who has been Acting as CEO since November last year.
Sympathy and continued good wishes for his recovery are extended to long serving CEO Mr. Karikoga Kaseke, who suffered a stroke in November, necessitating the changes affected initially by the board and now, in a more permanent move, by the Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
Karikoga, a long time friend of this correspondent and of ATCNews, had led ZTA for nearly 14 years before suffering of the health problem which now resulted in a succession being put into place
