THE 2018 STATE OF CONSERVANCIES REPORT IS HERE

Alt Here
There are now 39 NRT member conservancies across 42,300 square kilometres of northern and coastal Kenya. As our 2018 State of Conservancies Report shows, these conservancies are having a significant impact on conservation and livelihoods. Inevitably, there remain immense challenges — particularly in building sustainable peace and rangelands management, but with 71,000 people now benefitting from conservancy livelihoods projects and elephant poaching for ivory at its lowest level since NRT records began, there are some big wins to celebrate. With thanks, as ever, to our principal donors and partners, and many other partners, donors and investors (listed on the website), for their invaluable support.
