Ethiopian Airlines launches inflight WiFi on their Airbus A350 fleet

Ethiopian Airlines has started offering WiFi connectivity on board their Airbus A350 fleet but is planning to expand the service gradually to other long haul aircraft types too, using the latest available satellite technology.Access is a paid for service and vouchers can be purchased at customer service desks, from the crew on board or online using credit or debit cards.
Said Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, when making the announcement: ‘We are glad to introduce inflight internet connectivity with the latest broadband satellite technology, KA Band, offering our passengers seamless digital experience as they fly Ethiopian Airlines. The launch of the onboard WiFi internet is part of our relentless efforts to further add to passengers comfort keeping pace with the technology of the day. As a customer-centric airline we will remain focused on continued service excellence, taking advantage of emerging technology and infrastructure.
