#Serengeti at Risk

"At the center of the World Heritage Convention lies the idea that some places are so valuable to humanity, it is our collective responsibility to protect and pass them on to future generations."
It’s heartbreaking to see the flooding of Venice. It will take a monumental effort to save it.

We must protect the Serengeti against such a devastating downward spiral while we have time.

Now is the time to build a bulwark of protection, not later when a flood of threats makes the task insurmountable. And it can happen fast. See below.

We’re racing against time. A relentlessly increasing human population, accelerating climate change, growing demands for water, and many other threats make it imperative we act now.
