World Travel Awards 2020 for Africa and the Indian Ocean area return to Kenya

NAIROBI SET TO PLAY HOST AGAIN TO WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS NEXT YEAR

(Posted 02nd December 2019)

Kenya will once again host the Africa and Indian Ocean region World Travel Awards next year, when the event comes back to Nairobi on the 03rd of October 2020.
The Gala Night will be hosted by the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in the heart of Nairobi, unlike a few years ago when the event was hosted at the Safaripark Hotel, where, if memory serves right, the catering was a major letdown.
On Friday night, 02nd of October, is a culinary gala planned to add value for visitors coming to Nairobi for the main event, where Kenyan chefs will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and impress visitors with the best Kenya has to offer.
Now 10 months to the WTA 2020 Africa and Indian Ocean regional awards in Nairobi has work already started to have tourism stakeholders in Kenya come on board while KICC, the newly formed Kenya Convention Bureau and the Kenya Tourism Board will join hands to promote the event and make it a great success.
