Coastal Aviation extends Seasons Greetings to all ATCNews readers

Partners and Dear Friends,

As another year nears to a close, it is always a privilege to be writing this newsletter.

We appreciate your feedback and cooperation received throughout the year. Thank you very much for all the support!

Looking back, we have had some amazing successes and without detracting any of the other efforts, let me capture a few that we are most proud of: –

  • We have now been flying 2-pilots MCC (multi-crew cooperation) on all of our flights for 12 months and have the processes in place to follow up on enforcing our standard.
  • Our eco-partnerships with Carbon Tanzania and Wild Aid are blossoming; obviously a long way to go, but comforting to know that we too have started our journey.
  • The effort and dedication of our Coastal One Team, as they continue to transform the business and themselves.

It is fulfilling to know that we will end the year on a high!

As I close off these introductory words, let me wish all of our partners, staff, friends and colleagues, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.

Rwanda, the Land of a Thousand Hills

Rwanda has seen some amazing lodges open up over the last year and the experience with the gorillas continues to be a “bucket list” item.
However, a quick reminder that we have commenced the surcharge on the routes connecting Kigali with the Serengeti directly. (The surcharge does not apply to those bookings made before 1st December 2019)

We are responding to your comments and feedback on the Kigali route.
With effect from 1st March 2020, we will be flying from Serengeti to Kigali, arriving lunchtime and returning back to Tanzania, an hour thereafter, to get you back before nightfall.
Hopefully this should reduce overnighting in Kigali and allow your guests to spend more time in the gorilla mountains.
Please contact our Reservations department on +255 699 999 999 extension 200 or drop us an email at reservations for more information
Change of Terminal at Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport:
We will now arrive at Terminal 1E but take off at 7 am from Nairobi from Terminal 1B
This is effective from 15th December.

We are running a festive season offer on the following routes;

Dar / ZNZ – Arusha for 44 USD ONLY

Arusha – Seronera for 135 USD ONLY

Dar / Znz to Seronera for 200 USD ONLY
