An Air Djibouti Boeing B737-500 suffered a collapsed right hand gear on landing at the Garowe Airport in Somalia, reporting substantial damage to the aircraft.
On board were 39 passengers and 5 crew. Reportedly all of them disembarked safely and without injuries from the plane, using a regular staircase.
The plane, registered as EY-560 and MSN 26538/2298, first took to the air in May 1992, making it over 28 and a half years old.
An air accident investigation is going underway to establish the cause of the accident.
