Fastjet first to react to South Africa’s return to lockdown level 3

FASTJET ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS FOR THIS MORNING WITH ADDED INFORMATION ABOUT FLIGHTS EXPECTED LATER IN THE DAY

Fastjet has reacted immediately to the announcement by South Africa’s President that the country would return to lockdown level 3 effective midnight, 28th to 29th of December.

As a result of the expanded curfew has the morning departure from Johannesburg to Harare been rescheduled to 08.30 hrs (a.m.) while the HRE – JNB flight was rescheduled to 10.40 hrs (a.m.)

Additional changes coming up as a result of the new lockdown measures will be communicated by the airline during the course of the day.

Travelers within South Africa are advised to check with their airlines about any changes in departure times, especially those in the early hours of the day, to avoid any inconvenience.
