While Uganda Airlines is preparing to launch flights to Johannesburg, in combination with Lusaka, has the airline just announced additional new African destinations such as Harare, Khartoum, Lagos, Accra, Lubumbashi and Goma but also Addis Ababa.
Launch dates for the new routes are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile are final preparations underway to complete the various certification processes for the launch of long haul flights, which will commence with the route to Dubai. Emirates, clearly in preparation of competition on the route, just announced an increase of their flights between DXB and EBB to five a week from next week.

Next on the list of long haul destinations will be London but also Mumbai and Guangzhou, the latter two likely in a combined flight. For all long haul services will Uganda Airlines use their two brand new Airbus A330-800Neo, configured in a state of the art three class cabin layout.

Meanwhile has the airline stepped up their already aggressive marketing and sales activities for the Entebbe – Nairobi route with new fares, which are bound to attract additional passengers. The airline presently flies twice a day between Uganda and Kenya, using a two class CRJ-900 aircraft.
