Meet South Africa’s New Minister of Tourism- Lindiwe Sisulu
South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa has named veteran politician Lindiwe Nonceba Sisulu as the rainbow nation’s new Minister of Tourism. She replaces Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane who has been re-assigned as minister for Human Settlement. She has been a long-standing member of Parliament for ANC and has served as minister in half a dozen portfolios including being the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation. Sisulu will be expected to continue the recovery process started by her predecessor. Read More here

Namibia: Boat Owners Excited About End of Lockdown
BOAT owners at Walvis Bay are looking forward to the start of the new week, following the lifting of travel restrictions between regions by President Hage Geingob. They say the series of lockdowns, since last year, hit their industry very hard, as they had no customers to go on boat tours. Qatar Airways enhances Presence in Africa with Harare-Lusaka Flights
Qatar Airways enhanced its presence in Southern Africa with the launch of a new linked service between Doha and Lusaka, Zambia and Harare, Zimbabwe. To mark this milestone, the new linked service was inaugurated by the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 featuring 36 seats in the award-winning Qsuite Business Class and 247 seats in Economy Class.
