The oneworld® Alliance was voted Favourite Airline Alliance by readers of Trazee Travel, in recognition of the alliance’s popularity among millennial travellers.
oneworld was selected as the winner following a reader survey by Trazee Travel, an online publication for travellers aged 25 to 40. This marks the fifth time that Trazee Travel readers have chosen oneworld as their Favourite Airline Alliance.
oneworld member airlines also took home awards in The Trazees, with American Airlines winning Favourite Airline Website for aa.com and Qatar Airways being named Favourite Airline in the Middle East.
Winners of The Trazees were honoured in an award ceremony on 16 August in San Diego, held alongside the 2022 Global Business Travel Association Convention. oneworld Corporate Sales Manager Chris Quiriconi received the award on behalf of the alliance.
oneworld’s win in The Trazees this year follows several awards for the alliance in the past several months, including Best Airline Alliance for the 12th consecutive year in the Global Traveler GT Tested Reader Survey awards. Global Traveler is the sister publication of Trazee Travel. oneworld was also named Best Airline Alliance by Skytrax, Business Traveler USA and Business Traveller UK in the past year.
oneworld Chairman and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive His Excellency Akbar Al Baker said: “It’s a great honour for oneworld to be recognised as the Favourite Airline Alliance by readers of Trazee Travel for the fifth time. All our alliance members strive for excellence at every customer touchpoint to ensure a seamless experience throughout their entire journey and this award is a fitting tribute to these efforts.”
oneworld CEO Rob Gurney said: “As our customers return to travel, we are delighted that readers of Trazee Travel have chosen oneworld as their Favourite Airline Alliance. This award is a further recognition of our member airlines and their employees, whose outstanding efforts have continued to position oneworld as the preferred global airline alliance.”
