We are pleased to share with you a special edition of our newsletter featuring highlights from two landmark events hosted in May 2025.
The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) successfully convened the 13th Aviation Stakeholders Convention (May 11–13) and the 2nd African Aviation Safety & Operations Summit (May 13–14) at the Kigali Convention Centre.
13th Aviation Stakeholders Convention
Held under the theme “Sustainability. Collaborate. Innovate,” the Convention brought together over 350 aviation professionals from across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. It served as a vital platform for networking, business development, and collaborative discussions shaping the future of African aviation.
2nd African Aviation Safety & Operations Summit
In collaboration with the Flight Safety Foundation, the Safety Summit focused on “Strengthening Safety Culture for Resilient Aviation in Africa.” The event showcased best practices, reinforced operational excellence, and fostered a strong safety culture across the region’s aviation ecosystem.
These two events demonstrated the power of partnerships and shared knowledge in advancing sustainable, safe, and efficient air transport in Africa.
