On Sunday, the 27th of October there will be a temporary road closure starting at 11.00pm due to the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon that will be held from 6.00am to 1.30pm on Sunday, 27th October. Roads that will be affected with either closure or traffic diversion, include the Southern Bypass and Langata Road.
This closure is essential to ensure the safety and smooth running of the marathon, which is a significant event in Kenya’s capital city.
Please ensure to plan your route to Wilson Airport accordingly, allowing for potential delays or detours so as to avoid missing outgoing flights or meeting incoming passengers.
