PARK HYATT ZANZIBAR SET FOR MARCH OPENING

The 67 rooms and suites Park Hyatt Zanzibar will very likely be open by March this year, bringing another 5 star branded resort hotel to the island of Unguja. Located directly at the beach in the Shangani area of the island will the new hotel add much needed beds to cater for the expected increase in tourists during the year 2015.
Popular in South Africa, Mango flies twice a week between Johannesburg and Zanzibar but also in the main European markets, has Zanzibar in recent years increased its market share for beach holidays in East Africa, largely at the expense of Mombasa which saw the fortunes of old days reversed.
As a result of growing demand has Fastjet also made arrangements for through tickets from Johannesburg, via Dar es Salaam on to Zanzibar, the last leg of the journey operated by Coastal Aviation.
