CODESHARE WITH BRUSSELS AIRLINES GIVES RWANDAIR ACCESS TO EUROPE’S CAPITAL

Thousands of Rwandans living in Belgium and other countries in Europe attended ‘Rwanda Day‘ which was held in the city of Ghent on Saturday. The Rwandan government was represented by none other than President Paul Kagame but also by Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo who in her address broke the news to the crowd that their national airline, through flights operated by Brussels Airlines, was going to offer the European capital city as their next destination.
RwandAir also offers code shared flights through Ethiopian Airlines to Addis Ababa and through Turkish Airlines to Istanbul, notably like Brussels Airlines also a Star Alliance members, indicating a preference of sorts by the Rwandan national airline.
Now flying directly to 22 destinations in East, West and Southern Africa, Dubai, Mumbai and London has RwandAir been the fastest growing airline in Africa in recent years operating the fleet with the youngest age on the continent.
