| Willis Towers Watson, a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced a partnership with AviAssist in Africa, an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting aviation safety in Africa. The signing of the partnership agreement took place at Aviation Africa 2020 yesterday.

The AviAssist Foundation provides effective and affordable safety support to the African aviation industry since 1995 and is the only affiliate of the Flight Safety Foundation for Africa. It is an independent, international, and impartial non-profit championing the cause of aviation safety in Africa. It works in coordination with ICAO, stakeholders and other safety support providers. AviAssist provides its support through training courses, social media and Africa’s only dedicated safety promotion magazine — SafetyFocus. In addition, AviAssist’s Safety in African Aviation (SiAA) conference provides a neutral ground for competitors and regulators to meet and address safety issues.
