The Rodrigues International Kitesurt Festival event is a large annual gathering of thousands of spectators since July 2013, on the beach of C Rodrigues Mourouk, in the Rodrigues Creole soul in the south of the island, which will take place this year from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th of July 2024 on the huge turquoise-colored lagoon that is home to the spot “Anse Mourouk” which is considered one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the world to practice kitesurfing with exceptional sailing conditions.
Isolated in the heart of the Indian Ocean, only a 90-minute flight from Mauritius and at 2:08 a.m. departure from La Réunion island, the little pearl, of the Mascareignes archipelago much less popular than the other islands in the region, is the ultimate destination for a trip immersing in local cultures to enjoy paradise beaches and many wild coves for a dream stay away from mass tourism.
Advocating sustainable development that enables to comfort the balanced development of the tourism sector, taking into account the biodiversity issues, the island of less than 45,000 inhabitants, continues to entice by its diversity of tourism activities in the well-protected natural setting of breathtaking landscapes, travelers trying to detach from the daily routine.
