A J Wangui rejoins Serena Hotels as Director of Sales

According to Ms. Rosemary Mugambi, Regional Sales and Marketing Director of Serena Hotels in Africa, has Ms. A. J. Wangui rejoined the organization as Director of Sales.

Joyce had left Serena Hotels many years ago and taken up a position as Director of Sales at the Sankara Hotel in Nairobi’s Westlands area, which was later to become part of Marriott Hotels Autograph Collection. Hugely successful in its own right before joining a Marriott brand as franchisee, was much of the commercial success credited to Joyce’s industry relations and personal skills on her job.

While at Serena did Joyce serve among other appointments as Country Sales Manager for Serena Hotels in Uganda, before returning to Nairobi to take up a new position as Group Corporate Sales Manager on head office level.

Rosemary Mugambi did earlier today mention at the Skal Club of Nairobi monthly luncheon, which was incidentally held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, that Joyce has rejoined  the hotel group as part of a restructuring which is going on at Serena Hotels. Rosemary will remain in her position as Director of Marketing.
