FIVE RESTAURANTS EARMARKED TO PARTICIPATE IN CULINARY FEAST

Today will over 1,500 restaurants around the world celebrate the French gastronomy. To mark the event Taste of France – Good France they will offer their guests tonight a "French" menu. On the island of Reunion, five of the island’s best known restaurants will be active in the kitchen, supported by the arrival of three chefs from mainland France who will help cook up a storm from the kitchen of the Prefecture of La Reunion.
On the occasion of "Taste of France – Good France" Christophe Moreau, chef of the Prefecture of La Reunion, welcomes three colleagues who were invited by the Reunion Island Tourism (IRT).
They bring with them some impressive two Michelin stars and former sworn Top Chef (M6) Ghislaine Arabian; the star chef and twice Best Craftsman of France Benjamin Patissier and Reunion’s own Jean-Alexandre Ouaratta who recently earned a Michelin star, will supplement the know-how of islands based chefs and promote the use of local products to create a French menu with a distincts blend and fusion from Reunion .
Notably did members of the international press also make ??the trip on invitation of IRT: The French food blogger Quentin Clot for Geek & Food, Jamila Chiquet for the France Sunday, known for gastronomy tips and recipes, Lionel Paoli of Nice Matin, the Belgian journalist and food critic Sandrine Mossiat for Magazine Atmosphere and the duo Wang Chi and Zhao Xiaojun for Chinese Food & Wine Magazine. Invited to the island by IRT will the media team meet the local and visiting chefs as well as other restauranteurs at the dinner held at the Prefecture of La Reunion.
Beyond "Taste of France – Good France", the IRT has put together a tasty program for the journalists attending a press trip to the island on the theme of Reunion gastronomy.
On the occasion of the Taste event France – France Good, five top restaurants across Reunion will also offers special menus: The Orangine and Lux in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, the Factory at Saint-Denis, the Makassar to Petite-Ile and the local Hotel Training Institute’s main restaurant.
