AeroLink Uganda Quarterly Update
Dear ATCNews Readers,
AeroLink operations, accounts, and management team
Happy New Month and a happy customer service week to you all. We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we bid farewell to Quarter 3 of 2023 and welcome Quarter 4, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support during the high season. Your trust and patronage mean the world to us, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible service.
Here are some important points to note for your future bookings:
1. Flight Update: We’re pleased to inform you that the mid-morning flight to Mbarara, Kihihi, Kasese, Mweya (Flight 117/118) is still operating as scheduled, except in November, when we will only operate the Morning and Afternoon flights. Rest assured; we will keep you updated well in advance regarding any changes.
2. East Africa Connectivity We are pleased to announce that it is now possible to book multi-sector interline bookings on AeroLink and its sister companies AirKenya Express in Kenya and Regional Air Services in Tanzania using one booking reference to quote and issue tickets. Our sales and reservations teams are on hand to guide you on this functionality in case you require some training or have any queries about this.
3. Important Update: E-Visa for Mara Connection: For clients connecting to the Mara via Kisumu for immigration, we would like to bring to your attention that it is now mandatory to have an e-visa to enter Kenya. This requirement is essential for your travel, so please ensure you obtain the necessary e-visa documentation before your journey.
4. Baggage Policy: We want to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for all our clients. Please find our baggage policy attached for your reference. We encourage you to review it before your upcoming journeys. Please take note of:
Clients with excess baggage should be aware that they have the option to book guaranteed freight space of up to 75kgs at a child rate. Additionally, the extra baggage will all be put in the baggage hold.
Excess baggage that is declared at the point of check-in will be subject to a charge of USD 3 per kilo on domestic flights or USD 4 per kilo on international flights. This is however based on space availability at the point of check-in.
An extra seat is for the comfort of the passengers and not luggage. Clients who require an extra seat will be charged full price.
5. Mbarara and Kasese/Mweya flights: If you are planning to travel to/from Mbarara or Kasese/Mweya, please note that these flights require a minimum of 2 passengers to operate. This information is crucial for your travel planning and reservations.
At AeroLink Uganda, we are dedicated to ensuring your safety and comfort throughout your journey. If you have any questions or require further assistance, our friendly customer service team is here to help. Feel free to reach out to us at +256 317 333 000 or send us an email info@aerolinkuganda.com.
