Exciting news from the Ugandan domestic aviation sector:
Aerolink Uganda is introducing an additional flight to/from Kisoro in the Mid-morning slot (Flight 117/118). Please note that this service will be available for the months of June, July, August, September and October. The airline discourages passengers with connecting flights from booking this flight as it may be delayed due to prevailing weather conditions.
Minimum Numbers Adjustment
To enhance operational efficiency, Aerolink has revised the minimum number of passengers required for certain routes. Commencing January 01st , 2024, the minimum number of passengers for the following routes will increase from 2 to 4:
Murchison Falls National Park (Pakuba, Chobe and Bugungu)
Flights to/from Murchison
Flights from Murchison to the West (Mweya, Kasese, Kihihi)
Lake Mburo National Park
Flights to/from Mbarara airstrip
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Flights to/from Mweya airstrip
Semuliki National Park on charter basis
Flights to and from Semiliki airstrip will now be exclusively on a charter basis, offering you and your clients a more personalized and flexible travel experience.
Air Kenya Maasai Mara Route
Aerolink Uganda also reiterates that Air Kenya operates the Maasai Mara route with a minimum of 4 passengers required per sector.
