AFRAA Convention gets into gear with delegates registering on site now

AFRAA CONVENTION REGISTRATION NOW OPEN AT SAFARI PARK’S JAMBO CONFERENCE CENTRE

(Posted 04th May 2014)

Registration is now in progress at the 3rd AFRAA Convention for Aviation Suppliers and Stakeholders and dozens of delegates already signed up and got their badges and conference material, ready to start with a welcome party tonight in the gardens outside the Jambo Conference Centre where Africa’s aviation elite will meet over the next two days.

Meanwhile have the organizers also established the access key for wireless internet when in the conference room and the adjoining areas. Users are to click on the ICT4D Wireless Network when iPad, Tablet, Netbook or Smart Phone catch signals and then enter the key: karibuafrica – one word all lower case.

Knowing that dozens of readers of my blog will attend the convention, see you tonight at the opening cocktails at 7 p.m. and all the best over the next few days. A hashtag will be announced shortly for those who wish to follow the proceedings on Twitter.

On a different note have none of the delegates cancelled their participation as a result of recent events in Kenya, a vote of confidence that in particular aviation and travel industry leaders know better than being swayed by public hype. Karibuni Nairobi, Karibuni Kenya!
