In line with their commitment to enhancing cooperation and collaboration, AFRAA participated in the coordination meetings of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the African Civil Aviation Commission AFCAC to review key work programmes within the aviation industry.
The meeting, which also included stakeholders such as Regional Safety Oversight Organizations (RSOOs), Regional Accident and Incident Investigation Organizations (RAIOs), Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the African Union Commission (AUC), and representatives from the industry, took place in Nairobi, Kenya, earlier in February.
This significant meeting aimed to promote the harmonious execution of activities in support of States and the achievement of mutual goals and targets set by the key aviation industry organizations. The meeting further offered an opportunity to foster robust cooperation between participating entities and other key stakeholders and discuss matters of common interest.
