The August Edition of the AFRAA SkyConnect Leadership Dialogues will host Sharon Mahony, Associate – Sustainable Aviation, Envisa and Mr. Serguei Poppeleer, CEO – Bleriot Holdings on Wednesday, 06 August at 14h00 EAT (UTC: 11h00).
The discussion will delve into aviation environmental sustainability initiatives and especially the production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The discussion will look into SAF feedstock, SAF technology, infrastructure, cost of SAF and achievability of the net zero emissions targets. Further, guests will share their views on opportunities for Africa to contribute towards net zero emissions by 2050 and the efforts and resources this will take.
