The 6th Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass 2023 collaborates with young entrepreneurs on Digitalization and Technological Innovation. Evidently, the MICE industry has been transformed by technology, which has played a vital role in elevating this industry to new heights. From virtual events to event management software, data analytics to security, technology is ruling almost every sphere of MICE.

The 6th Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass 2023 is scheduled for 27 and 28 July 2023 and the event will be held at BDO Offices, Wanderers Office Park, 52 Corlett DR, Illovo, Johannesburg, South Africa.

It is against this background that Africa Tourism Partners has roped in young innovators like Nkululeko Ndumiso Nkosi, an entrepreneur, writer, strategist, and technology innovator to train the MICE Masterclass 2023 participants in MICEtechnological innovation and digitalization. The course will equip attendees with digitalization skills for purposes of improving sales and marketing efficiencies as well as profitability in MICE.

Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) is a Pan-African dialogue platform. It brings together key stakeholders of Africa’s travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation sectors to network, share insights, and devise strategies for intra-Africa travel and tourism growth across the continent, whilst enhancing the brand equity of “Destination Africa’’.

It is also the only Forum of its kind in Africa that highlights tourism as a major economic pillar to diversify African economies. The Forum in convened by Africa Tourism Partners and BDO South Africa.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE AFRICA TOURISM LEADERSHIP AWARDS ARE STILL OPEN

The 5th Africa Tourism Leadership Awards are now accepting nominations. These are the only pan-African industry awards that recognise and reward African change-makers and innovations for the African travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation industries. The awards ceremony will take place as part of the 6th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum, which will be hosted in Gaborone, Botswana, from October 4 to 6, 2023.
