NOMINATIONS FOR THE AFRICA TOURISM LEADERSHIP AWARDS ARE STILL OPEN
The Africa Tourism Leadership Awards seek to recognise game-changing individuals and/or groups’ initiatives being pursued across the sector, such as those leading to progressive policy-making and business practises, thought leadership, innovation, sustainable investments, and public-private-community partnerships, to name a few.
This is the only Pan-African travel and tourism awards, which strive to recognise Africans’ innovation, excellence, and change-making for Africa and in Africa.
Nominations are now being accepted. Self-nomination and nomination by others are both permitted.

The masterclass, as a Continuing Professional Development programme, brings together experts from the international MICE sector to dialogue, explore, and share practical measures as well as sustainable interventions for the recovery and survival of the MICE and Business Events sector in Africa.
Scheduled for 27 and 28 July 2023, the 6th edition of the Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Participants of the MICE Masterclass include Ministers, policymakers, directors of tourism, tourism departments, development Agencies, principal and permanent secretaries, meeting planners, professional conference organisers, professional event organisers, destination marketing companies, MICE industry suppliers, youth and women in tourism, students, SMEs, entrepreneurs and start-ups in travel and tourism.
