Themed, “Shifting demand dynamics to shape the future of intra-Africa Travel”, the 2023 ATLF & Awards will present distinct networking avenues, business opportunities and learning programmes relating to intra-Africa travel, franchising, creative industries and culture, tourism investment, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), digitalisation and more.

The 6th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum & Awards 2023 will be preceded by an Intra – Africa Travel and Tourism Business Exchange, Business-to-Business Session & Exhibition on Tuesday, 3 October 2023. Exhibition will run for the duration of the event.

Exhibitors will be required to pay a commitment fee of USD200 (International exhibitors) and 1000 Pula  (Botswana SMEs) to reserve a space. Kindly note that space is limited and will be offered on first-come first served basis. 

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

We are delighted to announced that Africa Tourism Partners has partnered with Africa Free Trade Continental Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat to deliver the inaugural AfCFTA Forum on Tourism, Creative and Cultural Industries as one of the strategic focus areas of ATLF 2023.  Additionally, AfCFTA will use ATLF 2023 to endorse the newly establishment of Pan-African Private Sector tourism apex body Africa Tourism Private Sector Alliance.

With these new initiatives and developments, ATLF continues to maintain its positioning as Pan-African tourism thought-leadership platform. Among key insights learning and strategic knowledge sharing focus opportunities for the Forum are women in tourism entrepreneurship, intra-Africa travel business development trends, tourism and hospitality franchising opportunities in Africa, creative industries and cultural tourism as emerging business opportunities, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), digitalisation in tourism and more.
