Dear ATCNews Readers, I am pleased to share our 2022 Annual Report, Anchoring Africa’s Resilience, which highlights our efforts to safeguard Africa’s biodiversity for the benefit of our host countries and the global community. In this report, we showcase the work we do to protect intact nature – the most effective action to anchor resilience against the effects of climate change. Here you can read about the growth of our portfolio to 22 parks and 20 million hectares under management, the inevitable challenges we faced along the way, and the lessons we have learnt. On each park page you will read about the details of the incredible work being done, together with our government and community partners, to safeguard wildlife, support local people and protect biodiversity at scale.
