Air Kenya halts flights to the Mara Ngerende airstrip

AIRKENYA SUSPENDS OPERATIONS INTO AND OUT OF NGERENDE AIRSTRIP EFFECTIVE 13TH OF FEBRUARY

We take this opportunity to inform you that we have suspended operations into and out of Mara – Ngerende Airstrip.

The Airstrip status has dilapidated following the recent heavy rains.

We have received confirmation from the Airstrip’s Management that repair works have been scheduled to start on the 13th February 2020.

We recommend that all reservations into and out of Mara Ngerende Airstrip moved to Mara North Airstrip,

Should you have alternate arrangements please advise our reservations and operations teams.

Once repair work is completed, Airkenya will carry out an inspection flight and advise you of the flight resumption date.
