Air Seychelles gets government approval to resume long haul flights to Europe

Information was received from the Seychelles, that the government has approved plans by the national airline to resume long haul flights to Europe – something which was discontinued under the former partnership with Etihad Airways,

Presently has Air Seychelles, in the face of the Middle East airspace closure, been operating several  flights into Paris and Prague using their Airbus A320Neo aircraft.

It is understood that Air Seychelles will lease a wide body aircraft to operate flights to Europe and recruitment of additional staff is already underway, showing the advanced stage of these plans.

No destinations have been named yet but it is anticipated that both France and Germany could be considered as both countries are amongst the leading source nations for visitors to the paradise islands.
