IATA CERTIFIES AIR SEYCHELLES AS A SAFE AIRLINE

Following the completion of IATA’s stringent operational safety audit has Air Seychelles just had its certification renewed for a further three years.
IOSA, short for IATA Operational Safety Audit, is a hallmark for airlines around the world and passing initial or renewal audits take thousands of man hours for the airline to meet criteria and raised standards of safe operations.
Said Roy Kinnear, CEO of Air Seychelles, when receiving the renewal certificate: ‘We are pleased to have once again passed the IOSA safety audit, which is the global benchmark for safety in airlines. The International Air Transport Association represents some 260 airlines, or 83 per cent of the total scheduled air traffic in the world, and IOSA audits are mandatory for all members. Air Seychelles has an impeccable track record when it comes to safety and this successful audit is a testament to the strength of our safety culture. This certification means our guests can rest assured whenever they board an Air Seychelles aircraft, knowing that we always put safety first‘.
Air Seychelles operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A330 jet aircraft and six Twin Otters for domestic operations between the main island of Mahe, the island of Praslin and other more outlying islands. On international routes does the airline serve Johannesburg, Mauritius, Antananarivo, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Paris and Beijing. Dozens of other destinations can be reached under an HM flight number in cooperation with other Etihad partners through code shared operations.
