To maintain long-haul connectivity in the face of ongoing airspace closures and flight disruptions in the Middle East has Air Seychelles now leased a Hi-Fly Airbus A330 to operate flights on its route between Mahe and Paris.
This switch is to replace the Etihad’s Boeing 787-9 which Air Seychelles had initially contracted, a sign of the airline’s ability to quickly adapt to market changes and by doing so to preserve the vital tourist flows to the archipelago.
Flights to Paris, which were initially set to last only until the end of May, have also been extended until the end of June – although further updates are expected should the Middle East crisis continue.
