AIR TANZANIA LAUNCHES MBEYA FLIGHTS

Only days after presenting their Bombardier CRJ200 to the public has Air Tanzania now launched the promised flights to Mbeya, where they join Precision Air and FastJet, both of which have been service the domestic destination for several months now.
Precision Air is using an ATR turboprop aircraft on the route while FastJet uses their Airbus A319 with newcomer Air Tanzania offering flights using their recently acquired regional jet.
Flights will leave Dar es Salaam every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and return on the same day. The one hour flight compares with a day of hard travel on the road making flying in particular for business travelers a no brainer, considering the time saved.
Air Tanzania announced launch fares starting at 150.000 Tanzania Shillings one way, all charges included while a return ticket presently sells for 260.000 Tanzania Shillings, again all charges included.
