As 2024 is quickly approaching, now is the perfect time of year to discover the key findings of the IATA Global Passenger Survey.

As emerged from this year’s survey, travelers continue to prioritize speed and convenience and are increasingly embracing biometrics and off-airport processes to deliver it.

Some sample insights are:

52% of passengers prefer to book directly with the airline.
87% of travelers indicated they would share their immigration information to speed up the airport arrival process.
7 out 10 air travelers are paying their booking via credit / debit card, but preferred methods of payment vary a lot by regions.
2 out 3 stated that when traveling with only a carry-on bag, they are expecting to spend less than 30 min going from the curb to the boarding gate
