AIR KENYA TO RESUME WILSON AIRPORT TO KILIMANJARO AND ENTEBBE AND MORE GOOD NEWS

We are delighted to share the thrilling news that our East African Connecting flights are back on!

1. Wilson-Kilimanjaro-Wilson

We are pleased to confirm the resumption of our services to Kilimanjaro following the circular issued by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority announcing the resumption and restoration of all flights by Kenyan operators effective 16th September 2020.

We endeavour to continue the daily operations to the international airport, with a minimum passenger number of 4 (four). Our daily departure schedule remains, we have put up offers which can be booked through our website.

We aim to provide our Passengers whether on Safari, Leisure or Business to Serengeti, Arusha Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar a one-stop-shop by easily booking and confirming their trips with Airkenya and its Subsidiary Airline – Regional Air Services Tanzania. 2. Masai Mara – Entebbe- Masai Mara (Via Kisumu)

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni announced on 20th Sep 2020, that international borders will be reopened for tourists while returning Ugandan citizens who have tested negative for Covid-19 will be allowed to self-isolate at home.

We are pleased, therefore, to inform you that we will be resuming our operations Mara – Entebbe – Mara Services via Kisumu effective 01st October and flights are open for bookings.

With a minimum requirement of 4 (four) passengers, the flight will be operating daily from the Mara via Kisumu to Entebbe operated by Airkenya Express and one can proceed to visit the various National Parks of Northern and Western Uganda operated by our Subsidiary Aerolink Uganda.

Tourists headed into Uganda are expected to have taken a Covid-19 test at least 72 hours before arrival into Entebbe and they will be taken straight to their holiday destinations.

3. Masai Mara Olekiombo Airstrip Flight Resumption effective 23rd September 2020

In other news, following repair works done on Mara Olekiombo Airstrip and post works airfield inspection done by our team, we are glad to inform you that findings indicated airstrip condition is now satisfactory for our operations and we will be resuming our flights effective 23rd Sept 2020.
