MINISTER OF TOURISM, CIVIL AVIATION, PORTS AND MARINE VISITS AIR SEYCHELLES

The Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, Didier Dogley yesterday concluded the second part of his official visit at Air Seychelles.
The visit which started at the airline’s sales office located at The Quadrant in Victoria later proceeded to Pointe Larue where Minister Dogley had the chance to interact with employees from the technical, ground and cabin operations department including the ground support and equipment department.
Answering to the queries of the employees, Minister Dogley further explained that for this year the department is targeting a 4% increase in the number of visitors coming to the Seychelles and to ensure that the country is on track in achieving this target, the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine will give their best to support all business functions that forms part of his portfolio.
The Minister also reiterated that the government of Seychelles will continue to give its support to Air Seychelles to ensure that it remains the national airline of Seychelles and keeps offering the service it is supposed to give.
Minister Dogley was accompanied on his visit by the Principal Secretary for Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, Alan Renaud, the Principal Secretary of Tourism department, Anne Lafortune as well as the chief executive office of Air Seychelles, Remco Althuis.
Following yesterday’s visit, Minister Dogley will also schedule time to meet with Air Seychelles staff working at the Ile de Palmes Airport in Praslin.
