Air Tanzania has announced plans to launch scheduled flights from Dar es Salaam to Mahe / Seychelles Islands.
While no date, nor frequency of the planned flights has yet been announced did the information generate excitement among the Seychellois tourism fraternity.
Once the flights go underway will Air Tanzania become the third African airline to connect the mainland with Mahe, after Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines.
