28TH OF JUNE MARKS AIR TANZANIA’S RETURN TO JOHANNESBURG

Air Tanzania plans to finally launch their flights to Johannesburg this coming Friday. The four times a week service will operate every Friday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, initially using the airline’s Boeing B787.
At a later date will the service then switch to the Airbus A220.
Connectivity to Johannesburg is reportedly assured for connecting flights from Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Mwanza as are onward connections for the Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam service.
It is understood that a launch fare, valid until mid July, will cost US Dollars 299 return, set to rise later on to US Dollars 347.
Air Tanzania is still building up a feeder flight network before later this year launching services to China.
