ATCNEWS PUBLISHER NAMED AMONG THE 100 GLOBAL TOURISM PERSONALITIES IN AFRICA FOR 2019

ATCNews’ role in promoting travel to and across Africa has been recognized by
media partner ATQNews – published in Lagos / Nigeria – the Akwaaba Travel Market
and the various partner organizations of West Africa’s largest tourism trade show
event.
It was Africa’s tourism icon Ikechi Uko, fondly referred to by this correspondent as
‘The Man With The Hat‘, who informed ATCNews earlier in the week and then
followed up with a formal letter to yours truly. Ikechi is the brain behind Akwaaba
and ATQNews, a publication regularly rebroadcast by ATCNews to bring more
African content and in particular West African tourism content to its readers.
The award ceremony will be held in Lagos / Nigeria as part of Akwaaba 2019 and
of the 01st Africa Diaspora Tourism Conference on the 23rd of September.
