Alain St.Ange says thank you to Prof. Dr. Noha Azmy, the Dean of the Faculty of Travel and Hotels at the University of Sadat City for the invitation to be a speaker at the first International Conference on “Sustainable Scientific Research & Digital Transformation: A Future Vision for Tourism, Hospitality and Antiquities” that was held from the 17th to 19th October 2023 in Dahab, Egypt.
“Conferences are succesful when the right leaders head it, and when those who take to the podium are known personalities in their respective fields. The Dahab Conference had the benefit of the human and very qualified Professor Dr. Noha Azmy leading the deliberations. Secondly the conference was able to demonstrate it had the national support by Egypt with the presence of H. E. the Governor of South Sinai, the Staff Major General Khaled Fouda and Minister Ghada Shalaby, Egypt’s Vice Minister of Tourism & Antiquities for Tourism Affairs among other important dignitaries.
I was honored to be present and to have taken the floor alongside the dignitaries present. The topic being covered is over important and discussion on such a point would require more time or a further conference where conference resolutions could be adopted for the Faculty to further table and discuss.
The large number of Academics who attended the conference were great and the initiated and generated discussions even outside of the conference proper.
I salute the Faculty of Travel and Hotels of the University of Sadat City for being recorded as the Organizers and hope the objectives set were achieved” said Alain St.Ange in a message to the University of Sadat City of Egypt.
On her part the Dean of the Faculty of Travel & Hotel of the University said in a message to Mr St.Ange:- “Your attendance in the conference was the most beautiful thing that has ever happened…”
He was also offered a plaque expressing their recognition of the Seychelles former Tourism Minister
