Alain St. Ange takes on key tourism role in Indonesia

SEYCHELLES’ BEST EVER TOURISM MINISTER ACCEPTS NEW ROLE FROM TOURISM INDONESIA

Seychelles former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine and arguably the most successful one ever, Alain St.Ange, has been tasked to reposition tropical islands tourism in Indonesia. The new assignment also spearheads the promotion of tourism between the African Union and its member states and ASEAN – Asia’s economic bloc, Mr. St Ange told ATCNews.

Indonesia is one among the largest member states of ASEAN and Indonesia Tourism is leading the way in their preparations for the much anticipated reopening of the world borders.

Indonesia remains a popular tropical tourism destination, offering cultural diversity, breath-taking natural beauty and world-class accommodation at affordable prices.

Alain St.Ange, the dynamic former Tourism Minister for the Seychelles is well reputed in Africa and around the world, is a seasoned global veteran in all things tourism and was recently ‘poached’ from his home islands to lend his extensive expertise to the development of tourism for the Indonesian Islands and to assist with the challenging navigation of rebuilding tourism during a global pandemic, as well as post COVID-19.

St.Ange is expected in Indonesia during the month of April to commence work. He will be based in Jakarta.
