NEW FLIGHT CONNECTIONS TO LINK ITALY WITH MAURITIUS
(Posted 25th August 2018)
Effective 26th of October will Alitalia, the financially ailing national airline of Italy, return to Mauritius with three flights per week. The new connection, leaving Rome every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, will use an Airbus A332, offering passengers a three class configuration of Business, Premium Economy and Economy class. The return flights arrive back in Italy the following evening, Thursday, Saturday and Monday.
Aimed primarily at the growing leisure traffic between Italy and Mauritius will the service restore an air link between the two countries which Alitalia discontinued two decades ago.
